Tea Party-Levittown

On Saturday, April 25th, more then one hundred fifty people turned out for the Levittown Tea party. The event which was sponsored by the Veterans group, Gathering of Eagles was held at Veterans Memorial Park on Hempstead Turnpike. It was a great turn out for a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Several speakers addressed the motivated crowd. The theme of the event was clear, Long Islanders expect government to reduce the oppressive level of taxes and reduce spending to what the People can afford. This grassroots effort which began across the county on April 15th will continue until Washington, Albany, Mineola and local elected leaders hear the people.
