This page addresses the number one issue facing Nassau County residents; taxes. A reasonable solution to reduce the high level of taxation is to reduce spending not increase it.

Please see the chart below to see which State Senator voted in favor of the MTA Payroll Tax which taxes any payroll including municipal governments and schools. The increase was passed along to taxpayers in the form of higher property and school taxes. The tax specifically targets 12 counties including high taxed Nassau and Suffolk counties.
