This page addresses the number one issue facing Nassau County residents; taxes. A reasonable solution to reduce the high level of taxation is to reduce spending not increase it.

Please see the chart below to see which State Senator voted in favor of the 2009-2010 state budget that increased taxes and fees by 8 billion dollars, the largest tax increase in New York State history. The $131 billion dollar budget raised spending by 8.7%.
