NY Gov. Cuomo and Legislature work together to give Driver Licenses to Illegal Aliens

In a stunning display of arrogance, betrayal and dishonesty, Andrew Cuomo quickly signed a bill passed by the legislature less than 24 hours earlier granted New York driver licenses to illegal aliens. Ignoring the 911 Commission report which held that the terrorists that bombed the World Trade Center were illegally present in the United States and were aided in their actions by the ability to obtain identity documents in furtherance of their plan to attack America, Governor Cuomo and his allies in Albany have placed their allegiance to a domestic radical ideology above their responsibility to protect New Yorkers. Nassau Executive Laura Curran orders removal of ICE from Nassau Jail

In a move without any rational basis, County Executive Laura Curran terminated the county's cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove criminal illegal aliens from the county. She cited a recent ruling by a New York Appeals court, however the ruling does not require or mandate that ICE must be moved out of the county jail facility. In fact, Suffolk county has not plans to ask ICE to leave. Turning a blind eye to the devastation caused by MS-13, Laura Curran cares more about pleasing the Looney left than putting safety of Nassau residents first. Besides having to call the County Executive about her problematic assessment overhaul, please call her and the Nassau County legislature (as noted below) to demand that she restore ICE to the county jail.

Congresswoman Rice refuses to support Immigration & Custom Enforcement(ICE)

On a recent congressional resolution to support ICE titled, "Supporting the officers and personnel who carry out the important mission of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement", Congresswomen Rice voted to abstain. A total of 34 Democrats and 1 Republican voted No. 133 Democrats voted No. Long Island's other three Congress representatives Tom Suozzi (D), Peter King (R) and Lee Zeldin (R) voted Yes. NY Senator Gillibrand calls to abolish ICE

Without any acknowledgement of the importance of border enforcement, Kirsten Gillibrand became the first US senator to call for the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. With thousands of MS-13 members already removed from the interior of the United States, the Senator is seeking to not only stop the removals but to also eliminate deportations. This is the same position taken by the self described far left socialist Ocasio-Cortz who won the Democratic primary against Joe Crowley.

Governor Cuomo Puts Illegal Immigrants First Before New York Citizens

Vows to give free Medicaid and College Tuition

In a highly controversial move, Governor Cuomo announced plans to continue to provide free Medicaid benefits to DACA illegal immigrants and inserted a provision in his 2019 budget that will provide free college tuition. At a time when middle class residents of New York are struggling, the Governor chooses to ignore them and instead act in a reckless manner without regard to his responsibility to voters who are citizens. The ideological blindness that permeates Andrew Cuomo is without question a fatal political flaw in a man who seeks higher office. Failing to understand the role of government coupled with the arrogance to disregard common decency is nothing less then a recipe for disaster. Now its time for the legislature and the voters to stand up to the Governor's bizarre behavior.

A review of recent census data by The Center for Immigration Studies found that the number of immigrants along with their children have balloned to 61 million. Included in this number are 15.7 million who are here illegally. Considering the current US population of 320 million, one in five US residents are now immigrants.

NYS Board of Regents OK's 53 Professional Licenses for Illegal Aliens

In a move that disregards common sense and makes a mockery of the law, the NYS Board of Regents has voted to allow illegal aliens to apply for professional licenses. The licenses include teaching, engineering, medicine and many other professions. So instead of making it easier for unemployed citizens and legal residents to find jobs, Governor Cuomo is requiring the middle class to compete for jobs with those who have no legal right to be here.

Trade Bill will allow President to increase immigration at will, no oversight

The proposed Tran-Pacific Partnership Bill would give the President fast track authority to approve trade bills agreements which will then be submitted to Congress for an up and down vote. The bill has language that allows the President to change the agreements at will such as increasing the number of foreign workers under the B1 visa program. As millions of Americans are out of work, why would any sane person seek to bring in more foreign workers. Also in light of the President's disregard for adhering to federal law, how can he be trusted if given cart blanche to do what ever he wants without oversight?

President's Amnesty Directive blocked by Federal Court

On Tuesday, a Federal Court issued a temporary restraining order blocking the President's directive that would grant legal status to millions of illegal aliens. The suit filed by 26 states asserted that the President exceeded his authority and would cause irreparable harm if allowed to proceed. Judge Andrew Hansen agreed noting, "The genie would be impossible to put back into the bottle," if millions are legalized which would be a "virtually irreversible" action.

Epidemic spreading across America

No nation in the world has ever opened it's borders to all who want to come illegally. The President's failure to protect Americans from Islamic radicalism and his willful refusal to defend our borders has consequences. The failure to properly screen and admit immigrants within the framework of our legal immigration system has led to the current health crisis which may effect tens of millions of Americans; the proliferation of viruses and disease. The other consequence was spelled out in the bipartisan 911 Commission report; a repeat of 911.

President refuses to defend border; thousands continue to flow in

Since the story first broke, the United States government is continuing to allow all of those who cross the border to stay while their cases are adjudicated. Thousands of illegals have been sent to different cities in the nation including New York then simply disappear. As the President has illegally granted amnesty to 500,000 who came to the U.S. as children and has ordered Immigration and Customs to target only those who commit felonies, every illegal alien streaming across the border can stay in the United States. Attorney General Eric Holder has even created a program to provide the "new arrivals" with legal representation paid for by taxpayers.

ICE releases hundreds of illegal aliens into Arizona

Illegal immigrants caught at the Texas border have been bused to cities in Arizona and are being dropped off at bus stations to go to their families throughout the country. Normally they would be detained then deported right back over the border, however they are being released into the U.S. with court dates even though they have no incentive to appear in court and ICE, Immigration and Custom Enforcement will not pursue illegal aliens unless they commit other criminal offenses. This comes on top of the release of thousands of criminal aliens including those charged with murder.

This action by this administration is clear evidence of the wonton lawlessness of this President who has refused to discharge his oath of office to defend the nation's laws and our border. His actions are consistent with aiding and abeting criminal conduct. It's time for Congress to take action to stop this madness.

“The pending Senate immigration bill would bring a minimum of 33 million people into the country during its first decade of operation,” said Roy Beck, director of www.numbersusa.org. “By 2024, the inflow would include an estimated 9.2 million illegal immigrants, plus 2.5 million illegals who arrived as children — dubbed ‘Dreamers’ — plus roughly 3.4 million company-sponsored employees with university degrees, said the unreleased analysis.

“The majority of the inflow, or roughly 17 million people, would consist of family members of illegals, recent immigrants and of company-sponsored workers. The estimate is likely the first of several that will be produced by advocates as the Senate grapples with the immigration bill developed by the “Gang of Eight” senators.

The recently unveiled Senate Immigration bill provides a "pathway to citizenship" for almost all of those who are here illegally. The bill even provides for a large expansion of current legal immigration as it would include relatives of those who are granted legal standing and those who were already deported. Supreme Court say Yes to Arizona Immigration Law, President says No

In a widely anticipated ruling, the US Supreme Court ruled today that the state of Arizona has the right to inquire about the immigration status of those who are lawfully stopped by the Police. The Arizona law known as SB 70 was intended to address the illegal immigration crisis facing the border state. Three other provisions of the law were invalidated as the court found that the law intruded on federalism, the supremacy of the federal government's role in enforcing the nation's immigration laws. Should the U.S. Supreme Court uphold Arizona's immigration statute, Senator Schumer has vowed to introduce legislation that will block any state law that attempts to address the problem of illegal immigration. While ignoring the federal government's failure to enforce the nation's immigration laws, the Senator has labeled the effort by the states to protect it's citizens as "an assault on the domain of the federal government".
